Im got a new job, working Tech support for apple. And can I say the I have actually learned something. ANd let me say something else..PC's w/ windows are crap. On a side note, more and more people are coming up to me and saying I need to have my own TV show. Everyone should help me do this, you can all be guest..

I was watching tv with a female friend of mine (brown suger the movie)..Theres a part where the female main char. says she cant marry a side char., so she gives him the ring back..The female friend I was watchhing this with said "man, I wouldnt have given that ring back, why she do that.." WHAT..!!!! I said the hell you wouldnt have I would hold you down and take that ring off your finger...

Why is it that women feel that the ingagement ring is theirs to keep even if you dont marry the person..and why is it that I (the man) have to be the one to ask to get married. Instead of hinting around at getting married, why dont women just get a ring and get down on one knee and ask there boyfriend to marry them???

Why is it that when a man is broke for some reason; women that try to break it nicely to him say "he's still finding himself". But when a womans broke, if there is a man 20 ft around her he must not be treating her right cause he doesnt give her all his money..
(Women without childern) for so reason have this 'pass' in life to not have to bring as much to the table-interms of a relationship as a man..The man is suppose to be able to buy and pay for everything, or he's no good- he is suppose to just blindly agree with anything his woman does, or he's not compromising(sp?) for the relationship--he's suppose to cut-off his female friends, or he's a player and not taking the womans feelings in to consiteration(sp?)...What the hell is the woman suppose to bring to the table??? Why do women my same age/stage in life or younger think Im suppose to have more then them..(two people hike up a mountain at the same speed and start the same day, when,where and why is the man suppose to be a the peak when the woman is still half way?)

I just did my first show before my feb. tour (last weds.). It was ok the sound could have been better, dont know if it was my disc or the sound guy. I did ok, still have a long way to go, but Im a long way from where I use to be. But I'll be making some new songs and working, working, working on my stage show. Ive got a new ep (The M.G.M) all new music everyone should get one for them and two for there mother and father too..lol...(I put two songs from it up at my myspace site check it out and let me know what you think...

I have figured out the myspace prob. and my music is up now. I loaded some of my old stuff to get it out there more, While I was trying to figure it out I was listening to it and felt that more poeple need to hear it. Ive heard TOO much and I thought it wasnt good and that it was time to move on. But in and of itself it is a good effort (think MF DOOM with more/better everything lol). And for all those that read my little notes to myself thank you, and if you leave more comments letting me know what and how you feel, we can get some real talks about music, money, and lifew started here (*help me, help you*)

So whats new at PlanetSound Studios/Productions.

-Starting work on some new EP projects that I have been putting off because of life issues.

-Still trying to iron out details and plans for a Illogic / EQ mixtape hosted by the one and only DJ Con Artist (still in the planning stages so everybody keep their fingers and toes crossed)

614 Unity Show

This was a very good event. Those who missed it, missed out on something good.. Shouts to Dj con artist (anybody know him, tell him to get at me on the mixtapes). This show once again proved my point, whatever type of music you want or like there is a local columbus artist doing it; and you should support him/her FIRST!!. I also saw a lot of high school buddies, good to see familar faces. --There are so big plans brewin', anyone that would like to be a part of the PlanetSound/EQ movement email me; we've got the music we need your hands and feet to take-over columbus....

First and formost; thank you to anyone and everyone that is reading this, you get love from me (females more soo, and can drop application at the backdoor (lol)). I saw the pour me anot.. tour, and may I say I was very impressed and taking back. I loved to see people come out and support hip hop; and it felt real good to see the newport full of people there just for hip hop- it was great.
But then it got me to thinking, why cant we come out for columbus shows in force like that. More over why CANT !)&>% (translation:107.5) let local artist get some airtime. This would go a long way in weening the public to support there own artist...Paul Strong said the R&B singer middlechild was good- she should be getting spins (by the way someone tell middlechild to get at me Ive got her next joint, fo' real).
When I was at OSU's radio station (the underground) it was a simple model, if its good play it!. "the PD doesnt like puffy or bad boy, ." "f 'um its good play it" "people dont know who kool keith is." "f 'um play it."
Im looking and are making strides into changing this, but please if someone know these PD's and DJ's at 107 tell them to e-mail me eq_irp@hotmail.com now so we can put columbus, ohio on this hidden map with LA,NYC, ATL, STL, NO, PHIL.
--side note-- to the person that said I should put some music up on the internet, Ive been tryin to do just taht at myspace and then Ill move on to other online means of access; but thank for the comment-- and if you know of something put let me know..---

I've been locked away preparing for a new album, and I think Im getting cabin fever (lol). Im making some of the best music Ive ever made but today I slept ALL day. It was crazy! cause now Im going to be up all night. So much for fixing my sleeping pattern...

This is my first post on my blog, a place where I can say just about anything I want to (whew! this a little scary..). So lets start it off with a bang, the columbus hip hop scene is driving me insane.
1. We seperate ourselves from others who are trying to do basically the same thing: BEING HEARD.

2. We look at the jay-z's and 50's of the world and FORGET how they got there: grassroots out the trunk putting in work husltin'.

3. (to add on to 1 and 2, mainly 2) The masses, the public/population and radio stations DONT SHOW LOCAL ACTS ANY LOVE! And we wonder why no one has made a big impact from ohio, because we (as a buying public) dont support. Slim thug gets more love in houston then jay-z does. How is it that arts from NO, memp., NY, Cali, etc... can almost go gold (500,000 sold) in there state alone and we cant even get spins on 107.5 or people to buy a cd in the streets.

How does an artist become famous and create a fanbase if no one is willing to be a fan and support.?!
--When I was trying to sell my last cd. I had a person ask me
"who are you?"
"EQ" I replied
he said "No, are you signed or is this just a burned cd"
I said "No, its good music" (this was before kanye west)
"I only listen to signed cats, there hot" he said
to which I replied "how do you think they get signed"......

Now I could go on and on (I've had some dumb convo's with people about music). But the whole think is starting to piss me off, just support (meaning BUY the music) if you let the person, group, singer or rapper support, if the music is good but the mix and overall quality could be better buy two so next time when you say to yourself: "damn, I wish someone would put out something I like and can relate to". That local dude from your hood, your block, your city can go to a bigger studio and make 'bigger' music representing you and your neck of the woods......
